The Department of Computer Science was started in 2014 with the under graduate programme. BCA and Master of Computer Science programmes were started from 2017. The department has completed 4 years of service in the field of higher education. Department of Computer Science prepares young minds for the challenging opportunities in the IT industry and academic. Designed to suit enroll for B.Sc, M.Sc (CS), BCA to take up jobs in IT industries.
Computer Application is the study of quantity, structure, space and change, focusing on problem solving, application development with wider scope of application in science, engineering, technology, social sciences etc. The key core areas of study in Mathematics include Algebra, Analysis (Real & Complex), Differential Equations, Geometry, and Mechanics.

Candidate for admission to the first year of the UG degree programme shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination (Academic or Vocational) conducted by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu in the relevant subjects or other examinations accepted as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate.
