Caste Discrimination Committee
The college has constituted a committee to address and redress the complaints /issues reported/receive regarding caste discrimination.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To implement a fair, unbiased and an independent mechanism to resolve the issues of the students.
- To provide support and encouragement to the students to be free and frank to place on records their grievances.
- To create an impact in the students that a higher quantum of confidentiality will be maintained in the addressal and redressal process.
- To ensure a responsive and realiable attitude among the authorities concerned.
- To promote a congenial relationship between the teacher and the taught.
- To establish a secular and conducive climate in the premises.
Functional Procedures:
- Complaints are collected through two modes: via
- a) Online and Complaint Register
- Complaints of all sorts will be forwarded to the Principal (Chairman of the Anti-caste discrimination cell).
- The authenticity of the complaints received shall be analyzed and follow-up action shall be initiated.
- The committee members shall forward recommendations to the Principal / Chairman.
- The Principal/ Chairman will take the final decision.
