Industrial Visits:
Students from the physics went on an educational visit to the Priyadarshini Planetarium in Thiruvananthapuram. The planetarium is one of the best in India and offers exciting shows about space and the universe. During the visit, students watched a sky show that explained the solar system, stars, galaxies, and black holes using visuals on a large dome screen. It was both entertaining and informative. Students also had the chance to explore other science exhibits in the museum, which helped them understand different scientific concepts. The visit encouraged students to learn more about space and made science feel more real and interesting. It was a memorable learning experience for all.

The department of Physics organized two-day industrial visit to ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. The visit aimed to give students a better understanding of space research and satellite technology. A group of students, along with faculty members, visited the ISRO centre and were given a tour of the facilities. The staff explained the working of rockets, satellites, and launches systems, and shared valuable information about India’s space missions. Students also learned about the different departments within ISRO and the role of scientists and engineers in space research. The visit was very informative and inspiring. It helped students gain practical knowledge and sparked interest in space science and technology. Overall, it was a memorable and educational experience.
